My Story
I am an architect-designer, graduated from the National School of Architecture and Urbanism of Tunis in 2017. I also trained at the University of Architecture and Visual Arts in Linz, Austria (BASEhabitat) in 2018.
Son of an engineer and self-taught designer, I was introduced very early to design and the mastery of materials.
In 2017, I founded JK LIGHTING, a label of luminous objects quickly recognized for its innovative technique of assembling wooden slats. Since then, I’ve continued to explore new materials, notably marble and steel, through experimental and poetic collections.
Alongside design, I practice as an architect and designer with JELJELI studio. Among my most recognized architectural projects:
– the Anissa Aida boutique in Tunis, published on Designboom,
– and Dar Bibi, a renovation of my grandparents’ house, blending memory, material and minimalism.
